Ordering & Delivery

Welcome to Zuku Trading’s (“Zuku” “we” “us”) website www.zuku.com.au (the “Site”). The following basic terms and conditions govern the use of this website. Please note that your use of our Site constitutes your agreement to follow and be bound by these terms. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use this Site. Zuku keeps all the information listed on our site as accurate as possible. We therefore reserve the right to update or change any information at any time.

ORDERING

When an order is complete, a confirmation page will show a summary of your transaction. You may choose to print this for your records. An email version of this summary will be sent to you promptly, provided we have an accurate email address. We'll send subsequent email(s) when your product ships, including tracking information (if available). We have the right to cancel or terminate any order at any time for any reason.

PAYMENT

We accept Visa, MasterCard, Amex, Diners and JCB credit and debit cards. All transactions on this website are processed using Moneybookers, a secure online payment gateway that encrypts your card details in a secure host environment.

SHIPPING & DELIVERY

Furniture - Australia 

Furniture items are restricted to delivery within Australia only.  Currently, furniture cannot be ordered via the website shopping cart. We opt to quote furniture delivery in order to provide the best and most cost effective option. 

Furniture is delivered by specialist furniture freighters to reduce the risk of damage to the furniture while in transit. Please note that additional delivery charges may occur if delivery is deemed to be difficult (i.e. several flights of stairs, access is restricted, additional delivery men are required). Additional freight charges may apply to large and heavy items.  Once your order is received and a delivery charge has been agreed, we will contact you to confirm a suitable delivery date and time. Goods can be despatched within 1-2 weeks (unless the product is out of stock) or at a later date if requested. 

Please be aware that you are responsible for measuring and making sure that your purchase will fit through doorways, stairways, into elevators, etc. In cases where merchandise doesn't fit, you may request a refund, with a deduction of a restocking fee of 20% of the original purchase price. Delivery charges are non-refundable and will be deducted from your refund. In the case of free delivery, some actual delivery charge may be deducted from your refund. 

You must accept delivery at the agreed date/time. In the event that you're not available to accept delivery, another delivery date/time will be organised which will incur an additional delivery fee. Please ensure you have the desired space ready to accept the furniture delivery. If you are not ready for your delivery (i.e. no space for assembly or new furniture is available), delivery might be cancelled and a new delivery fee and date will apply. 

We use third parties for delivery of goods and are not responsible for goods damaged in transit. The companies we use are the best professionals in industry, but please understand that the arrangement of furniture delivery is offered as a complimentary service. While we take care to avoid damaging any property while delivering furniture, which is generally heavy, we are not responsible for any accidental property damage that may occur.

Home Accessories - Australia

Homeware items are delivered via Australia Post or courier, at the discretion of Zuku Trading. You will be able to view delivery charges as you proceed through the check out process of the website. Delivery charges depend on the weight and size of the product and the delivery destination. 

Items are despatched within 1-2 days of receipt of order and payment. Orders are shipped Monday-Friday; weekend and holiday deliveries are excluded. Please note that shipping charges are per delivery address. If several items are ordered at once, they may arrive separately. 

Alternatively, home accessory and smaller furniture orders may be collected from our Richmond store at no charge (see information below). This is an option that can be selected during the online check out process.

Home Accessories - International

Currently, the website is set up for Australian deliveries only. However, we can arrange international delivery. To request a quote please contact us with the item you're interested in and the relevant delivery information. We will get back to you with a price asap.

Pick Up 

Home accessory and smaller furniture orders may be collected from our Richmond store at 389 Bridge Road, Richmond, Victoria during business hours by prior arrangement. Larger items including most furniture is only available to be picked up from our warehouse located at 7 Steele Court, Mentone, Victoria. Please note that the warehouse may not be manned and a suitable date/time appointment is required to be arranged.

Pick up items will not incur a delivery charge. Please select Pick Up in the “Shipping Method” section during the checkout process if you would like to pick the goods up from Richmond when you place your order. We will confirm with you via email when the goods are available to be collected.

RETURNS & EXCHANGES

Furniture and merchandise may be returned or exchanged within 14 days of invoice provided proof of purchase can be provided. No goods will be accepted without prior written approval. Please refer to details below:

Faulty Goods

If the product is deemed to be faulty, a replacement will be provided when the item is returned to Zuku Trading. If a replacement is not available, the amount paid for the faulty good will be refunded. 

Change of Mind

If you have changed your mind, we will permit goods to be returned for an exchange or store credit to the value of the goods issued. The customer is responsible for all costs in the return of the goods. Returned goods must be received in new, unused, pristine and unmarked condition, with all the original packaging in unmarked, saleable condition. Items will be accepted under Zuku Trading’s discretion.

Damaged

If goods are damaged at the time of receipt, this must be brought to the attention of the carrier and noted on delivery documents. Report the issue ASAP to Zuku Trading via contact us. All claims must be made in writing within 7 days of receipt and must be accompanied by photographs.
